Ich bin Kommunikationswissenschaftler an der Freien Universität Berlin. Meine Forschungsthemen sind das Verhältnis von Technik und medialer Kommunikation, Medienwandel und Social Web, Kommunikationspolitik und Öffentlich-Rechtliche im sich wandelnden Mediensystem. Seit Februar 2011 bin ich in den Aufbau des Alexander von Humboldt Instituts für Internet und Gesellschaft involviert.

I am a researcher and lecturer in media and communication studies at the Freie Universtität Berlin. My research and teaching focus on media regulation and governance, online communication and social media, media change and innovation. Since February 2011 I am involved in planning the Alexander von Humboldt Institute for Internet and Society.
